FAT VAMPIRE By Adam Rex

You will DIE (see what I did there? no? OK...) LAUGHING!

Ok so this books has the most relevant cover in the world! and lets not forget to mention that the concept is TOTALLY unique! I mean, all of the other book that I have ever read about vampires, the authors portray them as beautiful, skinny, about 17 to 20, and strong, but in this novel the main characters is a fat 15 year old vampire!

The book does starts off amazingly, in the middle it kinda starts falling apart, but Adam redeemed himself with the witty comments, hilarious scenes, funny characters, and the new twists on the vampire community. If you haven't read this book do so now! you will have a great time reading it!!

THE HOBBIT By J. R.R. Tolkien

The Hobbit (Middle-earth Universe)

Gahhhh. I cant believe I had not read this book!! but now, finally, I can say that I did.

This book is beautifully written and does a great job in conveying a mood of adventure and danger.
It starts a little slow, but once you get to (about) page 100 the story picks up and the action starts.

The story begins when we meet our lovely hero Bilbo Baggins, a 50 something year old hobbit, that might as well have been 10 since he had no experience in the outside world because he enjoyed sitting in his hobbit hole whilst enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the various meals in between. That is until Gandalf the great comes busting into his home one morning accompanied by a dozen dwarfs, and urging him to become a burglar in their quest to the lonely mountains.
After Bilbo accepts, it took a while, he, Gandalf, and the dwarfs embark on a dangerous and extraordinary journey filled with heroes, villains, and all in between.
The hobbit will be one of the most beloved and read book until the end of time itself, for its beloved characters and its thrilling adventure.

NANCY DREW By Carolyn Keene

The Mystery of the Fire Dragon (Nancy Drew, #38)

During  this past week I have been really into mystery books, so I decided to with one of my all time favorite detectives, Nancy Drew.

Nancy is a teenage detective that solves mysteries whenever and wherever they might be.
The books in this series are small, fast paced, and very clever, you will never see the twists coming!
The best part is you don't have to read them in order!

Go pick one of them up at your nearest bookstore! you wont regret it.

INTO THE EVER NIGHT By Veronica Rossi

THE COVER. AGHFGDG.

This book made my heart race with joy, but most of the time it made my heart break with sadness. Don't you hate it when books do that to you?

I liked how Rossie included POV's from different characters, so we really had a sense of what was going on and of all the emotions that surfaced during this book.
The plot kept a steady pace at the beginning, but once it reached the climax there was no stopping the action and heartbreak!

One thing (of the many) that I like about the re of relationship of Aria and Perry is that they both trust each other COMPLETELY because they know they love each other and that they are perfect together. The reason why I bring this up is because in the book there are some moments where while I was reading I would go "Perry's, you are with Aria! calm yourself!" or "Aria, you better not do anything that I would not approve of!" but even though there where a few moments of doubt, Perrie and Aria didn't do anything that would damage their relationship.

As for one aspect of the book that I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT is the relationship between Roar and Liv. OMG.
I just-
NO-
CAN YOU NOT?
At first I didn't really like Liv ( for obvious reasons!) but after all was explained I quickly fell in love with the couple. That is all I am going to say because I am about to cry.

DUST AND DECAY By Jonathan Maberry

TOM IMMURA IS A BAD ASS. I just had to get that out of the way so, MOVING ON!

After reading the first book I had really high expectations for the second, and I was not let down. The entire time I was cringing and desperate to know what happened next. I wanted to know what would become of everyone.

There are ALOT of surprises in this book and every single one of them was heart wrenching, unexpected, and some, sad. just FYI.

I felt the characters grew alot in this book because of the experiences they endure in this book, with all the loss of loved ones, betrayal, and sickening surprises, it was hard for them not to change.

My favorite character in this book was Tom because, like I said at the beginning, HE IS A BAD ASS. I also feel that we get to learn more about him in this book that we had in the last one.
plus! there is a certain scene that made me close the book screaming because he was such ( I bet you will get tired of me saying this ) BAD ASS!! (NO SPOILERS THOUGH!!)

I guess you guys will have to read it to find out witch scene I am talking about!

UNWHOLLY By Neil Shusterman

OH MY GOD.

I read UNWIND (book one) a year ago so I was REALLY  exited when I found out this was coming out! though I believe that putting out a sequel five years later is a bit risky, but lets be real here. This is  Neil Shusterman, who would not read what he writes?
and for people like me that did not read the first book when it came out I don't think the time gap was much of a problem.

The story starts a few months later than the last one lefty off, and right from the start the action begun, and pretty much never stopped.

I loved how Neal followed up on Lev's story because I found him to be a very interesting character ( with the clapper thing and all )

I wont say more because I don't want to spoil anything!!! lets just say that there are some very interesting new characters introduced.....but what role will they play in this novel? are they good or bad? well.....

READ TO FIND OUT!

BEFORE I FALL By Lauren Oliver

Beautiful, just- beautiful.

I am in awe of the authors talent. She made me cry, laugh, smile, and frown so many times in this book that I lost count! She wrote about the unfairness in life, the moments best forgotten, and about those that will stay in our hearts forever. She also wrote about the importance of letting go.

Samantha Kingston is your typical mean girl, she goes to parties, dates the schools hottie, and wears the latest trends, even though she may not be the queen bee she id second in command, but all that changes when she gets invited to Kent's party, that will turn put to be a day that nobody will forget. Especially Sam because it may be her last.

I loved Samantha in this book, how throughput her little groundhog-day episode she tries various different ways to get out of it. Once she even gave up and acted like she did not care, but only then did she start to see what she was leaving behind, who she was hurting, and how she wanted to be remembered.

i just could not put this book down! with all the lies, mysteries, and drama scenes, (not even mentioning the romance), I found before I fall to be a tear jerking masterpiece that will have a big impact in my life and in anyone who reads it.

DAYS OF BLOOD AND STARLIGHT By Laini Taylor

meh.

I really struggled to finish this book. Not because the writing was bad or anything, it was very well written and i learned a few new words here and there, but the plot just seemed too stressed, like the author couldn't think of what to write so sometimes she just babbled on hoping that nobody would notice.

The characters where all the same, their lives went on as I would have predicted   ( I didn't predict all the details but along the lines I knew what was going to happen).
I did enjoy Zuzana and Mik´s relationship and I am proud to say that I now ship them :)

Either way, this is a series that we are all going to read whether we like it or not.
